This is the first time I’m seeing this and I think it’s an absolutely magnificent art piece. The Juice Salif Citrus Squeezer was designed by rockstar designer Philippe Starck in the 90’s and has been displayed at New York’s Museum of Modern Art. It’s designs were based off that of a squid until it became the iconic shape we see here.
Not designed to be an actual squeezer, it was created “to start conversations.” One thing I know for sure is that it’s definitely not going to sit idly in any of my corners. It’s not like I’m mincing garlic here so it’s gonna receive its fair share of orange squeezing once I get my hands on this.
